This is the personal wedding website of Dan Francis and Desiree Roquemore. It exists to share the details of our wedding with family and friends. We do not sell, rent or share anyone's information with advertisers, and the site runs no advertising or tracking cookies.
Honeymoon fund gifts
If you send a gift, we keep the name, optional email address and optional message you type, plus the amount, so we can thank you. Card details go directly to Stripe, which processes the payment; they never reach this site.
Our guest list
We keep our own guest list (names, mailing addresses and RSVP notes) in a private, password-protected planning area so we can send invitations. Only the two of us can see it.
Signing in with Google
The planning area is for Dan and Desiree only, and we sign in with Google. When we do, Google tells the site our name and email address, which is used only to confirm the person signing in is one of us. The site asks Google for nothing else: no contacts, no calendar, no files. Anyone else who tries to sign in is turned away, and nothing about them is kept beyond a short-lived session cookie.
Cookies
The site sets one session cookie, and only on the planning area's sign-in pages. It keeps us signed in for up to 30 days and is cleared when we sign out. The public pages set no cookies.
Server logs
Like every website, our web server records the IP address, browser and page requested for each visit, for security and troubleshooting. These logs are rotated automatically and are not used for anything else.
Removing your information
Want your gift note or guest-list entry removed? Email dan@stepstonetexas.com and we'll delete it.
